Technically no they don't. However, we still are required to abide by the Miranda rights. Why? Because we also have treaties with many foreign countries that reciprocate Americans being treated equally when they're being arrested.

No they are not entiled to be advised of their constitutional rights while being arrested just like everyone else. when people are arrested they are not required to be read any rights unless they are being questioned. Prior to being questioned they are then read their miranda rights. once advised of there miranda rights they will often be asked to sign a form indicating that they have been mirandized. these righs are for any person whos is questioned by US Law enforcment not just US citizens. there is a difference between miranda rights and constitutional rights.

Okay, i made a huge mistake. Instead of Constitutional Rights, i meant to say Miranda Warning. Should an illegal immigrant, arrested for a crime, be advised of the Miranda Warning? if they are not a legal citizen of the U.S., then why is the Miranda Warning necessary?

I think they should be treated like a human. If they are here illegally and our system needs to deal with them, then they should have the same opportunities. Rights for me is a strong word, like hate and love. It should be used appropriately.

it depends on the crime. if they were arrested for terrorism, then, no, we don't. if the alleged "terrorist" is from a friendly country, we notify their embassy. . if they were arrested for anything else, then we treat them in accordance with treaties, as moongrim mentions above. . most IAs are released, rather than being transferred to ICE for deportation.
