For the most part, I'm pretty resilient -- I guess that is one of the benefits of having had to deal with difficult situations in the past and overcoming them. When things happen, I tend to go into a "what needs to be done to fix, change, or lessen the damage of this" mode.

I've gotten better at handling the unexpected.

Like the way Roseanne Roseannadanna,(aska)Gilda Radner from Saturday night live... said: It's Always Something (a catchphrase of her character Roseanne Roseannadanna used) My Daddy use to say Roseanne Roseannadanna Your Dammed if you do and dammed if you don't! Having adopted that as a philosophy I'm really good at handling whatever life throws at me and what I ain't got I don't need! I took a Dale Carnegie course in 1988 they taught that there are only two ways to respond to "How are you?" #1 Terrific #2 if your having a really bad day you allowed to say Terrific considering"? At first I used them both about 50/50 after awhile I found I used Terrific considering less & less if I use it once or twice a year now that's a lot. I can't remember the last day I had that wasn't Fantastic (Having substituted) Fantastic for Terrific! Try it it works!

Not so good Rosie. I have always been very fortunate and lucky so when something goes wrong it seems like the end of the world to me. However, as long as everyone I care about remains healthy and happy then I have no true worries.
