Complete darkness is a glorious thing. Living in the city drives me crazy because there is never true darkness.

It's totally dark. Darker than a grave digger's ass crack at midnight. Even during the day, my whole place is dark. I hate the day, I hate the Sun, I am a nocturnal creature. The light depresses me. A sowbug living underneath a rock all day thinks it's too dark in here.

I'm big enough to admit i'm a big baby & hate total darkness :) +5

Pure darkness.

We have a light on a timer in the living room. It gives a little light into the bedroom. We also have a street-light not too far down the road. It gives a bit of light. AND, my CPAP machine has 3 pretty bright blue lights on it. Not enough to read by, but it helps in the overall "blackness of the room". So, it's not PITCH black in there, but it's pretty damn dark without the lights on. ;-)

It is usually completely dark. That's the way I like it anyway! lol.

All the lights in the house is off but there are lights outside that burn all night and they shine through the curtains a teeny-weeny bit. So its not totaly dark inside. +4

There are lights outside from the courtyard.

The porch light stays on. Its glow lights about half the house enough to move around without breaking your neck.
