What is with all the questions lately about "why do peope like.." so and so or why do people answer so and sos questions and whether or not AB is a popularity contest? Why not just be happy?

I think that the AB community is beginning to develop families...and when that happens, fun starts to happen..people interact for the heck of it, not just for the points...

Maybe we should recycle some old questions. I don't know why it matters if someone asks a question on a topic that was last posted on weeks ago. Start fresh. After 80 answers, no one reads anyway... get some fresh blood. That would handle the intelligent question issue. Secondly... what is the deal with point bickering? Good lord. Its silly. So singwell has the highest. Good! They earned it. Nevets earned theirs too. they participated. And I assure anyone, if you just participate at all, and dont be a jerk, you get points too. But either way, they get you nothing. If you are here for the points, your gonna be disappointed, because they get you nothing.

I agree with your veiwpoint. I think the questions about who likes who, etc are pretty pointless - and to be honest, I generally mark them as nonsense, as they are not real content. This place really should be (IMO) a place where information is traded, lightheartedness is OK, but so is having to think for a bit. I have no issue with who is where on the leaderboard. Once I was number 10 for a week, and I was actually a bit embarrassed about it.
