I turned the water off to fix the plumbing in my bathroom sink, turned the knobs back on, and now no water comes out from the sink, what do I do?

call a plumber

check all valves between the mains supply and the taps in question. test any other taps etc that flow off of the same pipe that goes to the faulty taps. try turning the tap all the way on and leaving it for a while, but only 30 secs or so, this is to allow air to exit the system, although if after about 30 seconds either nothing is happening or you can't hear the water coming, then consider what you changed, wether or not you can undo it, then call a plumber if you loose all hope
