  • It's just my opinion and I have nothing to base it on, but my answer is no.
  • Yes, absolutely. Any amount of organic produce you can use is great for both your body and for the environment. Most food producers use genetic modification to allow them to be produced out of season, they often don't taste as sweet or nice as organic-in-season food. Pesticides can be shown to be carcinogenic and increase risks of allergies etc.... The chemicals used can stay in the soil of the farms for many years. I do know they aren't the cheapest but every little contribution we can make to encourage organic growers is a good one. :)
  • More, but not as much more as some of it is. I have read that if you are going to buy anything organic, make it popcorn. The reason is that popcorn is not cleaned. It is harvested, sifted, and packaged for sale. The chemicals and/or pesticides will still be on it. I have been buying organic popcorn for years.
