Can a corporation give a gift of money to individuals without issuing a 1099?

    Gifts, per the IRS definition, are limited to $25 per person per year! 1099s must be issued if the person receives $600 or more during the year. So, in this case, NO 1099 must be issued. I don't think the corporation giving a gift to individuals would be a tax deduction to the corp!
