yes, in elementary school we punched holes in paper and watched indirectly the eclipse. that was awesome! wouldn't pictures from hubble be amazing???

Yes, about 10 years ago in France. It was around midday and suddenly it went like dusk. The breeze stopped, the birds stopped chirping and it went cooler. Couple of minutes later it was just a normal summer day.

Yes, A solar eclipse is awesome. It gets very dark and the sun almost completely disappears. Just the glow showing around the moon is visible. During the movement behind and out from the moon the sun is very dangerous for your eyes. We looked at it through a tiny pin prick in cardboard. Awesome!!! Yes, I have seen both!!!

A lunar eclipse in November 2003, I was 10. If you're talking about the car, I've seen many over the years; my mom owned one from Aug 2001 - March 24, 2003.
