False, I don't waste my time even putting up a stupid tree. I haven't put one up in over 20 years and I probably never will. :-)

False. I have a beautiful 6 foot tall fiber optic Christmas tree. I love it especially after I have put all of my heart shaped Christmas ornaments on it. On Christmas day, I am usually not home as I am at our family Christmas gathering. So I get to enjoy the beauty of my nieces Christmas tree too. Any Christmas tree is pretty but it is not the only way to celebrate Christmas. I think some people forget the reason for the season. No, I'm not a bible thumper. :-)

it does not have to be a dead tree - you can get a living one - then replant it outside afterwards.

As for eating candy out of your stockings -well, yes, that bit does happen in some families,... although it has been years since I ate anything out of my stockings - I am too old :(

Sort of true. The tree isn't dead, it's fake. And I usually save the candy.

We have an artificial tree and we share everything. We don't put candy/sweets into stockings, they are usually in boxes or tins that have been wrapped in paper.

False. We don't have a live tree or stockings! We use lots of lights and we have one of those small trees with fiberoptics which is quite beautiful. We also have a huge stuffed jaunty snowman and a large "Father Christmas" which we put in our living room! :)

Tru-ish falsy... We sit in front of a 2 foot fake tree and eat candy out of a wal-mart sack. We usually don't have presents on Christmas either, my hubs gets excited shortly after the 1st and has worn us out by the 18th on asking us 50 times a day if we wanna open them. *Sigh* For 35 he's such a kid at heart lol

We now use a live tree and then plant it out front when we're done with it. And I gave up candy - I eat deviled eggs and ham rollups from a paper plate. Egg nog is still a must have!

I have done that but it has never been the sum total of any Christmas of mine. The worst one was in a drunk tank. LOL. In Ft. Lauderdale. I was hung over and they kept shooting me up with this high dosage of valium that was making me suicidal. After that, life is real good.
