Ortho indoor fogger. I like Ortho because it has actual pyrethrin in it, which, unlike the synthetic stuff (permethin, tetramethrin) breaks down into water vapor quicker, so it's less risk to residually contaminate you when you get home. (Also, kills bugs on contact.)
We have recently moved into an old house that was empty for almost 5 years. How can I get rid of the millions of spiders?

I have no problems with small spiders on webs. It\'s the brown ones that scuttle around the basement floor that really get me.
