Why do certain users on Answerbag feel it necessary to inject their opinions that don't even answer the person's question?

Probably for the same reason you asked a question like this that is really an opinion disguised as a question.

For the same reason this world is full of problems: human nature.

i love the democracy that the internet is creating ... who knows, maybe soon we won't need to be represented in congress - we'll be able to explore issues and vote on them ourselves. . . . an answer can only be an answer when the questioner or readers view it as an answer to that question. sometimes the question only comes close to the penultimate and it requires, sometimes, some molding to get at the underlying point.

like I always say people always believe their opinions is the most important opinion. Which mean they somewhere in their mind believe by giving their opinion they are doing everyone else a favor because they truely feel their opinion is the best and only one. And to those people listen NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR OPINION! Im sorry to take shot at them but atleast if your going to give an opinion make sure it pertains to the question and not just give one to be giving one because you feel it somehow answers another question no one give a dam about. Im sick of this people

Maybe they feel their opinion is related to the question asked, maybe it is, maybe it isn't, maybe it's a matter of opinion.

Thats the beauty of answerbag...opinions in response to your question do not have to answer it but possibly raise awareness of other possible viewpoints of the question
