I buy things as they come up. I have a very small collection of photography. One of the best deals I ever got was (not vintage or anything, but still) 6 Ansel Adams prints custom matted & framed for only $80.

I think you are correct but at least I'll know I'm broke as oppposed to just getting slowly drained of life. She will have the money and than we will both be broke within five years. I never thought it was a perfert plan, just the only one I'm left with.

Be finding a job for her. She will not have that much time to go shopping if she is working.

She has been getting a job now for over five years now. She has been cleaning out six rooms of clutter now for over 5 years now. She has been looking into going back to school now for over five years. She is now 5 years older now, about to be single - with most of the money I have made over the last 30 years, most likely with the house that I paid for and with the car I bought. Other than that it has been a good marriage for her and now I don't care - it's no longer worth it.

Me, I just don't care anymore. Don't care she spends money she has had no hand in making {she spent over $14,000 in the last 3 months}, don't care she does not care to talk to me, don't care she does not do anything she says she will and does what she say says she won't. -I just don't care. I will tell her you would like her perspective but I'll bet anything I used to have you won't live long enough to get a response.

I am a little old fashioned, I believe in commitment - but everythimg has it's limits. At times some things can be harder to end than to start but the tipping point has been reached. I really do believe both of us will have a better life without the other, we both have a pretty good idea what it would be like togather. I don't care for that prospect she will not share her thoughts.
