- I haven't missed any point, and many of those who "look" British, i.e. white, have ancestors who originally came from France, Scandinavia, Italy and other countries which in the past invaded, conquered, or simply moved to the UK, but as they look similar that's okay. If political correctness has reached the point of correcting stupid things like a comment in this thread about what nationality/ethnicity/whatever someone is, then it has gone too far. Who decides what is 'PC' anyway? Certainly not most of those that people are being 'PC' over.

- Thanks for your response, Violet. Everett is a really good actor who is also very good looking as you noted. "Cemetery Man" is my favorite film he's in -- he also was Julia Roberts' gay male friend in " My Best Friend's Wedding," a popular movie it seems. Even though I didn't like the movie, Everett is a highlight. He's in lots of other movies. :)

  No, its a very common, acceptable word in the UK but I have said 'Bloody Hell' on facebook before now and always there's some American lady ready block me for it, but only after a song-and-dance, squealing about me 'cussing' or whatever its called. 'Hell' never seems to be the bit that causes the trouble.
