Commandment 6: Thou shalt heep thy religion to thyself... except in the appropriate categories!

Thou shalt not converse with any troll, for they are unclean. Flag them and then ignore them. 6.) Thou shalt not convert unto the heathen practice of trolldom. 7.) Thou shalt not steal thy neighbor's avatar. 8.) Thou shalt not steal thy neighbor's screenname. 9.) Thou shalt not falsely accuse thy neighbor of having multiple accounts to boost his/her own rating. 10.) Thou shalt not take thyself or Answerbag too seriously. Go forth, be fruitful, and let thy answers multiply.

Thy shalt not come on AB and compare it to other, so-called, answer sites in a negative manner.

If thou should answer a question thou shalst respect the questioner with points BEFORE waiting to see if they give you any.

Here's my proposal for a complete list. 1-Thou shalt not hold any other sites or communities above Answerbag. 2-Thou shalt maintain a fall back position of friendliness and good will towards fellow ABers. 3-Thou shalt not troll. 4-Thou shalt not attempt to impose your views apon others or treat your own opinion as though it were fact. 5-Thou shalt not blatantly ridicule the spelling and grammer skills of others. 6-Thou shalt not try to ask a statement as a question. 7-Thou shalt not type in all caps. 8-Thou shalt not hold points and levels in regard above usefull answers and eloquent comments. 9-Thou shalt not steal any other user's avatar, question, or answer. 10-Thou shalt not fear to question the decisions of the staff and moderators, remember that they work for *Us*.

Here's a few more, Sorry, I can't think of a great answer because I'm still learning AB, but I will try anyway. (Sorry again, I couldn't help putting them in the (Thou) format. (I see now that others did the same thing,, maybe great minds do think alike?) How about some of the staff and top ranking ABer's opinions.... on this question????? Good. I haven't broken that one. Yahoo! Answers isn't worthy of my praise, anyway. 1) Thou shalt know how to write a good question that can be understood by many if you wish to receive good answers. 2) Thou shalt answer questions in a way that will help the questioner. 3) Thou shalt not troll. 4) Thou shalt choose your ratings wisely, and if you don't, be warned!;) 5) Thou shalt not praise Yahoo! Answers (I included this just for you). This is hard coming up with ten, you know. I'll try to continue. Never ask AB folks to do your school work for you. Never ask AB folks to add information to the answer (like for school work) Understand that everyone has her/his own opinion and an opinion different than yours is not always wrong. Understand there are two sides (and usually more) to every arguement. Understand that you aren't perfect either.

Name calling is for elementary school kids, choose to argue intelligently and respectfully. Take it offline if you must or contact a CL. Don't cheat and ask ABers to do your homework for you. Recognize and respect differences of opinion. Don't be a troll whether that means DRing or posting inappropriate material. Save the text speak for your cell phone. Use the search box the check for duplicate questions before you ask one. Don't have dramatic fits over anything. If you need to take a break, do so quietly. If you choose to leave AB, do so with dignity. Don't be a points whore. Accept DRs and move on. We ALL get them troll and non-troll and it's not worth fussing over. They're just points. Turn your ratings off and you will be much happier here. Have fun!
