As everyone knows, DICK TRACY had a 2-way radio/wristwatch. Why doesn't a real-life one exist, here in the 21st Century? You would think that one would have been invented/perfected by now, wouldn't you? [Click the link to see a fake photograph of one.]

- Yep, but at least you know that it exists, and in the case of the water one, the "time limit" has been solved.

  Most conventional jet-packs are only good for maybe 2 minutes of "travel time" at the most.

Actually, they HAVE been out. I remember reading about radio and TV watches just a few years ago.
