depends on what sort of school and career you are hoping to pursue. I personally recommend a small private liberal arts school where you an get more stage time. Big state schools with BFA programs are very competitive and make you jump through hoops. You can always transfer to a shorter acting conservatory program after you get your 4 year degree. In short though, the better your grades are, the easier it can be to get in to any school. Theatre programs, however, often have an interview or audition element which can compensate for poor grades if you do well.
