I wash the car myself (irregularly as we have water restrictions and I hate paying to do at the car wash place)
-
During the spring and summer I wash it , but in the winter it is too cold so I take it to the car wash.
-
Car Wash
-
both depends on whether i have the time or not
-
I wash it myself. It is a white car and I miss spots constantly and redo them.I don't find automatic car washes are that thorough for my car.
-
Yes I wash my car
-
I usually wash my car in my own yard.
-
I use a brushless carwash or I have it washed when I get the oil changed.
-
Car wash for sure! I don't have the time or the means to do it myself
-
car wash. most of australia is on water restrictions due to the drought. so if we want to wash our car, it's by hand and bucket, no hoses allowed.
-
Neither. I work on the basis that when I am driving it I can't see what it looks like outside anyway, so what's the point.
-
I do it myself because I can't depend on a CW getting the car clean the way that I like it. If I do find a good car wash then it's gonna cost me an arm and a leg. I have better things to do with my money like give it to my DaUgHtEr!!
-
I usually go to a jet wet (high-power jet and manual brush), but occasionally hand-wash it, particularly if I want to wax it afterwards.
-
Neither, I'm waiting for the dirt to get really thick so I can write things in it. LOL I figure why even bother? As soon as I wash it, it's going to rain.
-
I wash my car at a car washing dock. It's very satisfying and relaxing for me (perhaps I'm just strange). Try to find one that has REAL spot free rinse as they lie a lot of the time.
-
I let the rain do it and then I let it dry by parking in the garage.
-
My car needs to be washed by hand, lest it get scratched at an automatic car wash (those ones you drive through). It sometimes gets taken to a hand car wash to be done, but to be honest it gets so little use a feather duster is more effective than a bucket and water!
-
My car has rust so I don't bother washing it.
-
Neither...my SO takes it to the car wash.
-
My classic ford I wash by hand every other week during car show season.. my daily driver honda civic.. I let the rain take care of it...
-
It rains here so often that we dont worry too much. We tend to wash it at the beginning of the season and do it at home. And then maybe towards the end of the summer, we wash it again. In the winter, it's snowing and not a problem because no outside water works! It's too cold. LOL!!! But we do vacuum and clean the inside of the car a lot.
-
Do it myself. You can get it alot cleaner and how you like it so you dont havta check it over and make sure they did a good job. Cheaper too.
-
I pay to have it washed. Just easier that way. Plus the place I go to does an awesome job.
-
I used to do it myself and I would work my butt off, and as soon as I stepped back and looked at it I would cringe because no matter what I did, I still missed spots. So now I just have it done, and I am happy to pay $6.00 to keep my sanity!:)
-
we usually do it ourselves. My husband and I work togehter on it and sometimes the kids help too. We get it done right!
-
used a carwash today! £5, 5mins. Sweet!
-
I am too cheap to go to the car wash!
-
My kids wash it.
-
It matters if its warm out or not. If it's nice out, I do it... If it's not, then you bet the car wash does it!!
-
Do it myself.
-
Oh, I always do it myself. You can't trust those auto washes. They just don't get all the nooks and crannies. And they don't get your tires on the inside faces or get the whitewalls. I polish my chrome, too. I am the only one who knows how to wash my car!
-
I would NEVER put my car through a car wash.
-
I do it myself at the carwash, since I don't have the hoses or the place to do it at home.
-
Going to a carwash. Getting out of the car so people can vanumn and Armorall it. And getting back in when it's spick and span. Then at least once a year getting a full detail, including steam engine cleaning. I drive a Chevy Blazer with 180,000 miles on it.
-
If it is just a routine wash, I like to do the ones where you sit in the car for like five bucks. Otherwise, I like to drop it off for a really intense interior and exterior cleaning.
-
I prefer to have it done for me. Back East I used to take my car to Splash in Darien...I loved them and actually miss it! How weird is that? :) They had all my info in their computer system, I would just pull up, they'd can my UPC label on the windshield and know EXACTLY what I wanted done. Plus, they had low turnover so they always remembered me. I'm very picky about my car washes...I have a black car with tan interior and when she's clean, she looks HOT! :)~ I am still trying to find one around here (three years since I've been back) that is up to my standards. I always tip very well and when I'm paying upwards of $45-$50, I want her to sparkle. Short of driving to North Scottsdale, where I think they'd do a great job, the hunt continues...
-
Home yo...
-
I go to a car wash. Gives me some time to read. =)
-
I usually go to a car wash. SOmetimes it is fun washing and waxing my car in the driveway. :)
-
Wash my car? It would fall apart. The dirt and rust is what keeps it together.
-
i dont bother. rain does the job.
-
I used to wash it at home and had a hosepipe about once or twice a year. These days i live in a flat and dont have one:(
-
Carwash, but some steps like clean dashboard and... wax and... is only possible for me at home! ;)
-
Neither - I've got a husband :-)
-
car wash - don't have whatwithall to do the job at home.
-
I go to a car wash that you wash the car yourself (not automatic). I'm not allowed to wash my car at home... Damn apartment regulations.
-
At home the car washes don't really do a great job
-
We go to the car wash.
-
Where we purchased our vehicle they have a car wash and we can wash it for free. (an incentive to buy the vehicle there) We haven't decided if we should call it a free wash or the most expensive car wash ever!!:)
-
Car wash. Just easier that way.
-
I love washing by car at home in my hot pants LOL JOKE :P
-
I go to the car wash.
-

-

-
I Allways wash at home, then you know what your using because the Car Washes use nasty stuff that can Hurt the paint and shorten its life dramatically!
-
perfer to wash it myself, but occasionally allow someone else to do the work!
-
both, but i like to wash my car at home.
-
I have a car wash about four - five blocks away ... only $2.00 ; so that is where I go . +5
-
I do both, just depends on how dirty and how lazy I am.
-
Hand wash. Unless it's winter. Then car wash because my hose is normally frozen to the ground
-
I prefer a good hand job.
-
Hand wash I have all the kit and am not lazy....
-
If I have time and the weather is nice, I wash my car by hand. Otherwise, I have a great car wash I use.
-
car wash
-
I always hand wash.
-
I like gettin out there and washin my own vehicle and counting the hours til it rains cause that's exactly what will happen..... =)
-
Hand wash is better because you can make sure you clean tiny areas that may not be reached and whatnot. However I like the car wash because I suck at hand washing!
-
Hand wash. My car feels cleaner after one of those !
-
I'd rather have a hand wash...car washes are just too rough on my skin. ;)
-
I prefer to hand wash, after using my pressure washer. It saves the paint from scratches. We have a "touchless" automatic car wash in town, but it doesn't do a very good job and it costs too much money.
-
Hand wash. +5
-
I bath my car everyday!
-
i wouldent trust my baby to a car wash
-
Stop worrying, do neither and wait for rain :-)

Hand wash, but someone else does the washing, i.e., a hand car wash.
-
Rain ;-p Hand wash only.

Every few years, when I get around to it, I will hand wash.
