  • In my opinion, it is true. CBS issued a statement acknowledging the situation and with so many legal considerations and now an arrest and charge, it is too serious to be a publicity stunt for ratings. Personally, I'd prefer not to hear any more about it... +5
  • It wasn't a publicity stunt, but he is using this extortion to his advantage apparently. His name is in the news, he uses it in his monologues and he's getting sympathy.
