  • Find people who are genuine. Unfortunately there aren't that many, so having 'more friends' is not really ideal. It's quality over quantity in this case. "Popular" people have lots of people who envy them or want to benefit from them that call themselves 'friends'... but aren't truly friends. If you are trustworthy, reliable, kind and caring, then good people will gravitate towards you, those are the kind of friends you want.

  • You HAVE to be yourself, but make sure you're still an open, easily approachable person as well. Don't sit in the corner looking moody, make sure you talk to everyone you sit next to/near, little comments in the classroom can lead to hellos outside of the classroom, and you'll slowly get more friendly with people:) Just make sure it doesn't affect your school work:)
