  • Yes-talk with your Dr. about it-he will probably refer you to a neurologist & you will be tested. It could be from something very simple such as stress or something serious such as a brain tumor-so you should not tarry.

  • Unless Your brain is damaged, which is rather no the case it could be for two reasons that I can think of. . One is You realized those memories are useless, so they have been blurred not to interrupt with more important things. . The second one would be repressed memories, which is when the mind "disables access" to the memory from traumatic experiences and everything that could trigger them surfacing. . In the first case it's nothing wrong. Although You might misinterpret things that deeply bother You as unimportant or that You have already gotten over, but You didn't. That's possible. . In the second case You might have other disorders, which can influence many parts of Your life and recalling all those memories would be a good idea. With the help of a psychotherapist, if You need it. Or You can do it Yourself. . The method of recovering old memories is to come back to things that are related to those memories. That is if You know what those memories are. If not, just go through all Your history one after the other through associations and it will come back to You slowly. Listen to music You have listened to at the time, go to places You have been back then and remember them as they were, if they changed. Remember, watch pictures of or contact people that were conected to this thing. Watch the movies, play the games, do everything that can be traced near the thing You want to recover. Especially those that are considered "memory landmarks" i.e. most emotionally moving things, both positive and negative. . Either way it's good to remember the past. That way You've got more integrity and feeling of identity and control.
  • Yeah I am the same way, I am 23 there are times I cant remember what I was about to do or sometimes where I am even at.
  • If you suffer from depression (?) that can disrupt your memory.
