How come organic fruits/vegetables are more expensive than the regular (for lack of a better word) fruits/vegetables?

Because since there's no pesticide on the fruits/vegetables they are healthier, and also, there are not many fruits and vegetables without pesticide making them more expensive because there is less to sell. If someone has a lot of something they will make it a lower price because they want to get rid of it.
