  • It depends on the child. I had one that I never mentioned shot. It took the whole pediatrician's office to hold her down for shots. As an adult, she just faints.
  • Honestly, my parents used to trick me .. and tell me we were going somewhere else and we ended up at the Doctor's office. Now, going to the doctor is one of my phobias!! I hate it!! My suggestion would be for parents to always be honest and open about doctors' office visits. I did that with my son and he has never had a problem going there.

  • You should try to explain the facts to your Children ; if they are capable of understanding them. If you do not help them understand. Other Kids may provide them with information that is not true. People believe an spread all kinds of undocumented myths about Vaccines. One true fact is some have the Mercury(thimensol) and some do not. Some people ignorantly believe the Vaccine causes the Flu. They do not.
