  • They're really not that hard 2 fix and junkyard window tracks can be pretty inexpensive, or a piece of wood 1x3 or 2x4 can be cut 2 length and jammed between the bottom of the window and the bottom of the door. You might find someone like me that would take care of it for a 6 pack. Good luck. Oh, futurama totally cracks me up!
  • I removed the inside panel of my door (temporarily, of course) and made strategic use of zip-ties. A few of those in the right places on the window linkage and possibly to internal parts of the door's structure will result in a window pane that will NOT move. It took about 30 minutes, but it held for over two years.
  • You need to replace it!! Mechanism has been worn out!!
