Herded sheep, yes, herded cows, yes. I have never branded an animal with a hot iron but I have tagged ears.

Watched sheep being sheared once. The closest I've come to branding cattle was when my curling iron became to hot and I "branded" my forehead. During another curling Iron mishap I dropped it and it hit my right forearm I'm branded there even worse.
