If your toothbrush fell into the toilet bowl, would you still use it after giving it a wash?

Hell no. I prefer that things used for expelling waste not come into contact with things used for cleaning my body - especially my mouth.

Not unless I didn't know about the toilet dropping. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to stop thinking about it.

it depends. did i just clean out the toilet bowel with bleach. probably not. if i had to continue using it i would let it soak in some listerine mouth wash to kill the germs in it.

No freakin way would I even get that thing near my mouth! I would rather fry bacon naked then use a nasty toothbrush.

no. i would probably toss it in the trash as soon as I get it out of the toilet. ew... however, i've dropped someone else's toothbrush in the toilet and i ...err...i forgot to tell them about it.

No. I wouldn't even have the stomach to fish it out of the toilet. I'd make someone else do it. If I was home alone, I'd flush it and hope for the best.

people are too fussy. i'd probably boil it if there had been lots of use by people who's habits i wasn't too sure of in my bathroom though.

If it's the only one available, yes, but I would soak it in boiling hot water for five minutes and hope it didn't melt first, then soak it in listerine.

Mythbusters found that a toothbrush that did not fall into the toilet, but just sitting in a cup or stand in the bathroom, had fecal contamination anyway because when you flush a toilet small fecal particles float in the air. Lesson- wash toothbrush before each use!

I did it once...It was back in 1977 or 78, when I was in my College dorm. The water from the toilet bowl was crystal clear. I took it and washed it with lots of dish wash detergent and bleach. I will never do that again. I was younger...I know better now.

I would throw it away! Imagine all the germs all over it! Gross! I would buy a new one for sure.
