  • i wouldnt suggest making your own solution. Vets and pet supply stores sell correct eye cleaning soulution.
  • You should never put anything in your dogs eyes, unless it's prescribed by a veterinarian. You can do more harm than good. If you haven't taken your dog to a vet yet, I would suggest you do so. They will give you the right medication to use in your dog's eyes, for the specific problem it is having.
  • Please see this webpage http://www.uskbtc.com/article.php/64, I just paid $50 at the vet to have him tell me what I already knew, that I should wash the eyes 3 times a day with a mild boric acid solution. You can usually purchase granular or powder boric acid solution at your neighborhood pharmacy.
