I'm thinking more along the lines of "classic punk" here (If you can call it that): "Blitzkrieg Bop" and "I wanna be sedated" - The Ramones. "Anarchy in the UK" "Holidays in the sun" and "God save the Queen" - The Sex pistols. "What do I get?" and "Ever fallen in love" - The Buzzcocks. "London Calling" and "White Riot" - The Clash Maybe all of early Green Day up to the "Dookie" album. Rancid and Bad Religion also come to mind.

This is a song I heard on a literal "Punk CD" otherwise I can't really tell the difference between rock and punk. Song:Turtleneck Coverup Band: Ozma They're very good and the song is addiciting.
