Is there criminal repercusions for hiding a vehicle the bank intends to repossess?

I think they would fail to see any humor in it.

It depends on the state. For example here in Arizona if you are hiding secured property in order to avoid repossession you can be charged with a misdameanor but i have never heard of it happening.
