    The "Decatur Staleys." The club was founded by the A.E. Staley Company in Decatur, Illinois in 1919. When they relocated to Chicago in 1921, they were renamed the Chicago Staleys. George Halas purchased the club from Staley for $100!! They were renamed the Chicago Bears. They played at Wrigley Field! Read all about it here; very interesting!!
