Is medical science going backwards or forwards technologically wise?

Forward on a regular basis.

idk... but socially wise it is upside down because the hospital( in california ) has assumed power over the constituition in that they could forcefully administer that medication to me.... I declined service but all the docter had to do to get paid was check the proper boxes for insurance payment and I got stuck with god knows what those needles were.... I see a decline in medicine as far as cures vs repeat business medicine.
