I have an Envoy with keyless remote and when I purchased it, it was already programmed. Maybe call a local GMC dealership?

try pressing lock on keyless then turn ing key on and off seven times then release keyless.

This is standard on GM trucks and suv's. Get in, close the doors, key in ignition( don't turn it on). Hold the unlock switch on your driver's door, then turn the ignition to ON, OFF, ON, OFF and release the unlock button on the door. All the door locks should cycle if you did it correctly. If they do, hold the lock and unlock button on your remote simultaneously until the locks cycle again. Turn the key on, off and test your remote.
