No, no it would not

Personally, I think it's great! Young minds, nothing. They're seniors. 17 and 18 years old. If any one of those kids committed a crime, they'd likely be tried as adults. "They" can't decide a 17 year old is an impressionable child only when it's convenient for them. There should be more teachers willing to assign off-the-wall topics. Maybe then these overstimulated kids would get off their IPods and text messages long enough to learn how to write a complete sentence.

yes it is great for a laugh but i would not be able to write an essay on it though

Haha, not knowing her thought processes that appears to be an awful school essay question, but it says it was given to seniors, I am not in the US so I don't know but that's what, 17/18 year olds? We discussed far worse with our lecturers at that age. Its not the end of the world. Who knows, if it works - and gets their creative juices flowing - maybe it is a good question after all.

OMG..not really..no :D

Uhm no not really... That is pretty bad and weird... And if someone knocked someone else over and their initial reaction was to urinate in their mouth I would worry for them... Call me old fashioned but when I knock someone down I tend to try or offer help them up again...

First of all, how would you get a whole essay out of this unless you completely go off-topic...which is usually a big no-no in writing. Second, if the teacher really wanted to motivate students to write, think of a question (that can still be off-the-wall) that can get the writer to use his/her imagination. This is just a little too weird for my taste.

wow must have been some short essays
-
Wow that was pretty "off the wall" !! I wonder what kind of coffee she drinks !?! LOL :) +5

There are myriad of topics, which could spark creative writing, and it doesn't involve any perversion or savagery... I think this teacher has some issues... probably stemming from some wierd fetish.
-
Absolutely not. There are countless other questions that would have been more appropriate and taught whatever point was trying to be made or lesson learned.
-
No, but I think maybe "If you're brother was on fire, would you piss on him to put it out?" might have caused less of an uproar. I saw that on yahoo and was wondering what the teacher asked...

Id like to know what could possibly be learned by that essay. They should just say, I'm sorry, but goodbye.
