Do you ever watch the television news and get the distinct impression that someone or a group of people are carefully controlling what you watch to further broader ideological goals?

    Not exactly. But what I find interesting is that in this country, we happily accept that other nations use propaganda on their population, but rarely question the information our government provides us.

    Yeah, but I wouldn't call "maximizing network profit" an ideological goal. Still, a goal is a goal.
