What does the proxy override setting in the registry do?

    If you're on a network and a normal broadband connection then some allow you to use their proxt server remotely. proxy override is one of the functions that will allow you do this where you don't need to change your settings and configs just go to default which will usually be your normal connection.

    A couple of other uses too.
