All Doctors take it seriously and weigh the risk and rewards

I don't think any of them take the possibilities seriously enough. It's up to you to know what the side effect can be for meds you take. And, if they scare you, tell the doc to think of an alternative. Side effects of one drug almost killed me --- really. I'm not a good spokesperson for prescription meds.
