Family should always come first, unless you have one of those really decripped families then maybe friends first. You need them throught all of your life for love and life experiences! Good question! +4pts.

Family, then friends in concentric circles based upon the length and depth of those friendships...sometimes, friends are more worthy of one's loyalty than family...hugs!

It should always be family but, if you were unfortunate enough to be born into one of those sick-o, abusive families, who do nothing but hinder and hurt each other ... dump 'em and go with your good friends!

Family first and then friends. But I have family members who are... just terrible, and friends who are like family.

Family. No matter how messed up some of them get at times, they are my family & we have history so i try to keep that in mind. Most of my family is wonderful though. +5
