  • Why don't you go ahead and get a GED so you will at least have that -- it will open up a few doors that will be closed to you without it.
  • It is difficult, but it can be done. My daughter didn't finish school, and she had such a hard time finding a good job that she decided to be a stay-at-home mom. She did have a job for a while as a store clerk, so I know that there are a few jobs that will hire. If you have a talent such as music, art or writing, you could have a bright future. Another possibility is to join the Army. They might accept you as long as you finish your education while serving in the Army. If you have some money saved up or have a financial backer, you could start your own business. There are some great books in the bookstores that can give you ideas about what kind of business you could start. If you are a good typist or have good computer skills, you could start a secretarial service or do web page design. Good luck!
  • Sure. There's more to the service industry than fast food: restaurants and stores (retail) are a good bet. Also factory jobs. Farming. Pick an industry, figure out what the bottom-most job is, go for and build experience and work your way up.
