It depends, you can rewrite a CD+-RW (RW stands for re-writable), but not a CD+-R. Edit: Also your CD drive needs to support CD+RW or CD-RW for you to be able to rewrite a CD.

a CD-R is a recordable CD, it can't be rewritten when there is data already on it. a CD-RW is a re-writable CD. All data can be removed, replaced or added to.

Once you're written to it and finalised it, thats it. You'll either need to use multi-session or a CD-RW.
