If I was feeling silly, I'd give them a round of applause and some words of encouragement. If not, I'd just keep on walking and leave them be.

Call everybody quietly and watch. Then applaud when they're done. They obviously enjoy the thrill of the possibility of being caught and this will make it that much more real for them. I like to help. ;)
