  • If you can find your way to Answerbag to ask this question, I'm sure you can call a doctor of some sort to ask him/her of their professional opinion.
  • Go to the emergency room and have it checked out.
  • Seek medical advice strange away. Keep cold water or cold compress on it all the time. This can take up to ten minutes. Dont use any sprays or tight wrapping as this can stick. Hope this helps

  • All good points. One's eyesight nothing to take for granted. Just ask someone who has lost theirs. You should have been on the way to the doctor, not to the computer.
  • After you get an answer from the doctor, please post it. My friend had hot oil splash in her eye while cooking, it is not serious enough to go to the emergency room, but we are just wondering whether it is ok to out water in it. She hear that you dont put water on oil burns.
