SPRAY a bug killer or household cleaner - air freshner into the box .... drop a cigarette in there and the smoke will cause it to come OUT ... +5
-
Just use a stick or whatever you have on hand to scoop her out. Stick her somewhere that kids or pets aren't likely to come across her.
-
Take the bug spray out there and spray it into and on the outside of the box.
-
just spray it out with a water hose.
-
Use a hose.
-
Ask your husband to give you a hand.
-
If you don't have any bug spray, household cleaners like Windex or Formula 409 work just about as well. I must now go wash my brain of that visual (I hate spiders...:-P..)
-
are u sure iff its a black widow? if it is then be extremeley careful because they are poisonous (although they only attack when they feel threatened) i reccomend using a bug killer or getting an extermenator but dont try to grabit yourself because it might bite u
-
Spraying it with an insecticide or getting a long branch with leaves and drag it out; especially if it has made a web. The web of a black widow is quite "sticky"!
-
Dont use a hose! get a can of raid and spray it, then when shes dead carefully remove the spider with a paper towel, you dont want her wet, pissed off and bite you by doing something dumb with a hose.
-
Ewwwww spray it with windex...it kills bugs!
-
Spiders in general have a hard time understanging that poisons are supposed to kill them. Your best bet is to get a stick (long enough to make you comfortable doing this) and mash her and scrap her out of the mail box where you can stomp the cr*p out of her. Then clean your mailbox thoroughly and inspect it frequently to ensure you get any more of the buggers if they show up.
-
You could smoke it out, or use bug spray but if you want to get it out with out killing it. take a spray bottle and fill it with lemon dish soap if you do that and spray the mailbox the spider will leave spides dont like lemon at all .-.
-
just move and get a new mailbox ;)
