  • When I lived in Hawaii (1981-92), I found that the only way to travel between the islands that was "cost effective," was by flying AIR MOLOKAI. I don't know if they are still in business, but they were incredibly low cost. http://www.timetableimages.com/ttimages/3r80sa.htm You can't drive from one island to the other, yet, so the only way is by air or boat. A good travel agent can find you some real bargains, and if you have a Hawaii Driver's License, be sure to always ask for the "Kama'aina Discount." Aloha! +5

  • The only way to travel interisland is by air. "go!" Airlines usually has the cheapest tickets. Check their website and compare it to Hawaiian Airlines.
