No. Impeachment in a legislative process is like indictment in a legal process. It is the first step in the removal of an official. Fail simply means to not live up to expectations. Most partisans hope that the opposition will not live up to expectations. Very few reasonable people believe it is healthy to impeach an elected official, when most of them will face election soon enough anyway.

Well there is a HUGE difference. Bush needed to be "impeached" for the simple fact that he was a white president and only the rules applied. Whereas Obama is black and people expecting him to fail for the simple fact that there has not been a black president before and so much emphasis is being put on that. No one went into the both judging him fir his campaign but, because of his skin color. And what many people fail to understand is that either way black or white, male or female; the president is just a representation of a decision that has bedn made by six men whom many people don't even know exist!! Do your homework,please!!

No. Bu$h deserves to be impeached. Obama hasn't done anything yet to deserve.

If for variety and nothing else, I'd like to hear anti-Obama people use a different word besides "fail".
