when theres an annoying hole in them that just one toe pokes through and then it gets all twisted round your toe. bad times, bye bye sock

i throw my away when i get a hole or when i can see thread with no material. i don't throw away then i turn them into cleaning rags, from that point when they are just no longer usable. +5

Ok I have this sock......Use it when I go skiing. The pair was expensive......One came up missing. Maybe I'll find it..........one day. lol

When they can hold no more furniture polish because you end up pouring it on your hand .. right through the holes!

When they are so stretched that you have to stop and pull them up every 2 minutes. Time to invest in new ones.
