If you are not Irish and not Catholic, did you wear green on St. Patricks Day and why?

I used to wear green on St. Patty's Day when I was younger. It was just fun to do. I was Catholic back then but not Irish. I don't think only Irish people celebrate this day. I for one acknowledge his day because he was the first person to bring the Gospel to the island. I don't think that getting drunk on green beer is really why we should celebrate it.

I am neither Irish nor Catholic, and I did NOT wear green on St. Patrick's Day. I make a point of not wearing green on that particular day, though I often do other days.

I just like to wear the color green and I see no point to avoid wearing green on St. Patricks Day just because I am neither Catholic or Irish.
