I dropped my Xbox, and now I can't play any Xbox Live games, though it will play regular games. How can I fix this?

Check the "network" card inside, see if it popped loose.

There is no network card (or cards of any kind) in the xbox, as all components except the chip are soldered to the Mobo. The RJ-45 connector might have been damaged or a connection might have popped off the mobo. Check this, and you can try to resolder it if you have those skills. Chances are though that if the fall was that bad, other things might be wrong as well. Good luck!

Chances are that when you dropped it, it damaged the Hard drive. XBL (xbox live) requres the use of the Microsoft Dashboard in addition to the game disc itself. the dashboard resides on the harddrive. if the harddrive is not accessible, you will not be able to play on Live. whether or not the drive is repairable is questionable.
