Nothing. The polarity is possibly changing at the moment, but slowly and not confined to a particular month. Perhaps you are thinking of the end of the Mayan "Long Count". The Mayan calendar starts at August 11th 3114BC (Gregorian calendar) and finishes on the Winter Solstice, December 21, 2012. At noon on the winter solstice, the Sun conjuncts a star which marks the center of the Mayan's Sacred Tree and represents birth and death. We call the "Sacred Tree" the Milky Way, and the center is a point where it crosses the ecliptic. If the Mayans were right, it's the End of the World.
