I remember being afraid of the dark when I was a young child. Especially during storms. I guess I just got older and out grew it. +5

I've never liked the dark. Part of it is that I do not see at all in the dark like most people. I have nightlights in every room of my house and they burn 24/7. When I was a child I was extremely "afraid" of the dark. The wisdom of the day was to not "feed the fear" by leaving a light on for your children. Phooey. I used nightlights when my kids were little, and they never felt fear of the dark.

When I'm walking to my room. My room's light is on, but the other room's and the hallway lights are off. I get this feeling like something is going to scream and grab me just before I enter my room.........!
