Three come to mind: The San Diego Zoo The St. Louis Zoo The Phoenix Zoo All of them are both huge, and spectacular.

The one inside Central Park because then I would be in NYC and on my way to MSG in the evening to watch any sports event I got tickets for wooo!

The San Diego Zoo is the best one in southern California, and it is so good that I have no desire to find another. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
