  • No, there will be the usual hype, old clips of '66, so old they're in black & white, old stars from the '66 squad will get carted out, if they're still alive, if not, get some "experts" who were alive back then to once again, bore us all to tears with England's victory when they played at home, in black & white, when the game wasn't even that popular, to make us think that England somehow deserve the trophy because they're England. When you consider that Uruguay won the cup twice before England won it (only once), and you take into account how much the English press bang on about it, it really is just a laugh riot. England are not all that, they were once, but no more, and this little fact will once again be brought to light when England fans are disgusted at being put out of the tournament in the quarter finals by some team they "think" they are better than, it happens all the time. I'm Scottish, so you may think this is the usual Scottish tripe about English football, far from it, I'm a realist, and I have much respect for the England game, which stems from me being a Rangers fan, but the truth is the truth, and the truth is, England are not as good as they are constantly told they are, and they certainly need to do more than just turn up to win the World Cup again, especially away from home.
  • No not at all. Semis probably. Being a Scot I have no problem in England winning the world cup (seriously)because we certainly will not. But I hate the the media in this country as they give it all the hype and they are the first to take the piss of the team. Really hate the media
